Started the morning with catching the train down to the very tip of Manhatten. It's was nice to see some water and be able to move around without smashing into people :)
We headed up town, stopping at all the important stops ofcourse. We hit Wall Street, including the bull, looked over to the statue of Liberty and had a look at some churches.
We then went to Ground Zero which was of course, a moving and upsetting experience. We also went into a small museum which had stories, peoples belonging and debris from the attack.
For a pick-me-up we had lunch with some local squirrels. Then to the Brooklyn Bridge... which I love. Always have, always will. It was nice weather to walk out there so we went for a stroll. Such a great view from there. I love everything about it.
Decided we needed to do some shopping so we headed to Canal St Chinatown. Smashed out $32 for a pair of sunglasses, 3 hats, 5 tshirts, 2 belts, 4 postcards.... all the greatest of quality I'm sure. ;)
And to my highlight.. winning the 'In the Heights' lottery. Got our front row tickets then ventured onto the M&M store for a while before it was show time. :D
Amazing show, OFCOURSE.. and nice work by Jordin Sparks, who seems quite the celebrity in America.
